The Department of Management Studies at IIT Madras offers an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA). The EMBA uses blended weekend learning. This setup lets working professionals improve their careers while keeping their current jobs. This two-year program gives mid-career professionals the skills to lead modern businesses. It teaches Functional Foundation, Integrated perspective Knowledge, and Global leadership skills.
The EMBA Admissions for the year 2025-2027 are now open. The last date for submission of the online application is October 20, 2024. Candidates with 60% marks in bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for the course. The classes are conducted during the weekends.

IIT Madras EMBA Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates need a Bachelor's degree in any subject with:
- At least 60% marks or a first class (for most applicants)
- At least 55% marks for SC/ST/PwD applicants
- You must have at least 3 years of work experience after finishing your Bachelor's degree. This experience should be completed by December 31, 2024.
